Greece’s Stefanos Ntouskos wins gold at World Rowing Championships

Greek rower Stefanos Ntouskos has won gold in the single sculls at the World Rowing Championships in Shanghai, crossing the finish line in 06:36.75, according to public broadcaster ERT.

Ntouskos, who led from the start and delivered a decisive sprint in the final metres, finished ahead of outgoing world champion Oliver Zeidler of Germany, while Yauheni Zalaty claimed bronze.

The victory marks Ntouskos’ first World Championship medal, following sixth place in 2022 and fourth in 2023.
