Matt Pillios named Kay & Burton’s 2025 Victorian Agent of the Year

·

Star real estate agent Matt Pillios has reclaimed his place at the top, being named Kay & Burton’s 2025 Victorian Agent of the Year, according to Herald Sun.

The high-profile bayside agent, who closed about $300 million across 80 sales this year, beat out 200 agents across the state to win the award. Pillios, who built his reputation at Marshall White Brighton, dismissed speculation around his career move, explaining that he simply needed a fresh start.

“To win the award in my first full year is unbelievable,’’ Pillios said.

“After leaving, there was a lot of noise and fake rumours so it’s nice to win. There’s been a lot of hard work and blood, sweat and tears. It’s all worth it.”

Pillios’ clientele list reads like a who’s who of Australian sport and entertainment. He has represented AFL greats including Greg Williams, Paul Roos, Josh Gibson, Alex Rance, Jordan De Goey, Anthony Koutoufides, Jack Riewoldt, Daniel Rioli, and Nathan Jones. Beyond football, he has worked with comedy group Sooshi Mango, actress Asher Keddie, Simone Callahan, and Dancing With the Stars performer Jessica Raffa.

Reflecting on his career, Pillios noted: “You are always learning. The market is ever-changing, and every client is different, so ensuring you’re open to evolving with the market and the needs of your clients is really important.”

He rounded out his award-winning week by hosting a celebratory luncheon with friends, including Greg Williams, Matthew Lloyd, Vincent Fantauzzo, Jarman Impey, and Jordan Lewis.
