GCM celebrates perfect pass rate in Certificate of Attainment in Greek exams

·

The Greek Community of Melbourne (GCM) has announced that its schools have achieved an outstanding 100% success rate in the recent Certificate of Attainment in Greek language examinations.

This remarkable achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of GCM students, the ongoing support of their families, and the tireless commitment of teaching staff who continually strive for excellence in Greek language education.

The Certificate of Attainment in Greek is the official qualification recognised by the Greek government, affirming proficiency in the Greek language and opening doors for further education, career opportunities, and cultural engagement.

The GCM Schools prepared students for the examinations through a dedicated series of online and hybrid classes. A total of 27 candidates participated, 15 school-aged students and 12 adults, attempting levels from A1 to C2. All of them successfully passed their respective tests, earning official recognition of their Greek language proficiency.

Dr Nick Dallas, Chair of the GCM Education Committee, said: “We hope the strong participation and performance of GCM Schools in these exams inspires more students to take part in the future. Our main goal remains the promotion, dissemination, and preservation of the Greek language and culture. We are proud of all our students for the dedication, effort, and time they committed to achieving their goals.”
