Legendary Greek singer Marinella collapses on stage during concert

·

Greek music legend Marinella collapsed on stage during her concert at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus on Wednesday, leaving her in critical condition.

She was admitted directly to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Ygeia Hospital after reportedly suffering from a severe stroke.

The incident took place early in the show, during her third song, leading to the concert’s cancellation. The 86-year-old singer was reportedly taken to the hospital, though no emergency call was made at the time.

The concert was a tribute to Marinella’s remarkable career, featuring renowned Greek singer Antonis Remos and a large orchestra.

With a career of nearly six decades, Marinella is regarded as one of the most iconic voices in Greek music history.
