Tributes flow for John Iordanis killed in multi-car crash on SA freeway

Tributes are flowing today for 58-year-old John Iordanis after he was killed in a multi-car crash along the Southern Expressway in Adelaide, South Australia on Friday, June 28.

Mr Iordanis was driving a green Ford Falcon, one of five vehicles involved in the horror crash that occurred on the Southern Expressway, Huntfield Heights.

The drivers of the other cars were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Mr Iordanis died at the scene, becoming the 44th person to be killed on the state’s roads this year.

Since confirmation of Mr Iordanis’ death emerged, family and friends have paid tribute to the father and grandfather. They called him “one of the nicest guys” with a “heart of gold.”

His step-daughter Natalie Chown told The Advertiser he was “the most genuine, caring and loving man I have ever known.”

“We can not express how devastated we are,” she said.
