A list of the 100 Top Green Energy Players in Australia has been released, and among the names are at least two Australians of Greek heritage.
George Peppou, Founder and CEO at Vow
Vow founder George Peppou envisions a future where menus feature meat from species not typically associated with dining today. Vow takes an innovative approach to food production by cultivating meat from cells, creating products that challenge traditional notions of meat consumption. The company’s cultured quail parfait is already making its way onto plates at select restaurants, such as Fura in Singapore.
Matina Papathanasiou, United Nations Risk Reduction Investment Advisory Board Member
After a distinguished career as a founding partner at QIC Global Infrastructure, finance executive Matina Papathanasiou now lends her expertise to the UN’s Risk Reduction Investment Advisory Board. Her work focuses on adaptation financing aimed at creating resilient infrastructure in the face of climate challenges.
