Hellenic Lyceum of Sydney marks busy fortnight with AGM and Mother’s Day event

·

The Hellenic Lyceum of Sydney has marked a busy fortnight of celebrations and community events, holding both its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and a special Mother’s Day luncheon at NSW Parliament House.

Hosted by Sophie Cotsis MP, the prestigious luncheon brought together community leaders, representatives from Greek Australian organisations and distinguished guests to celebrate the role of mothers and the contribution of women within the community.

Special guest Dimitris Basis delivered the keynote address and captivated attendees with an acapella rendition of the iconic song Cloudy Sunday. During the event, Mr Basis also received an award presented by Ms Cotsis on behalf of the NSW Parliament in recognition of his services.
