Dimitris Basis to perform exclusive Sydney dinner show at Alpha

·

Sydney audiences will have the opportunity to experience one of Greece’s most recognised contemporary voices later this month, with acclaimed singer Dimitris Basis set to perform live at Alpha for a special dinner and show event.

Presented within the venue’s Grand Room, the evening promises a blend of live Greek music, dining and celebration in a cabaret-style setting designed to capture the atmosphere of a traditional late-night Greek entertainment experience.

Known for his distinctive voice and long-standing contribution to the Greek music industry, Basis has built a career spanning decades, performing some of Greece’s most loved contemporary and laïko songs. His repertoire combines modern Greek music with strong traditional influences, earning him a loyal following both in Greece and among diaspora communities internationally.

The event at Alpha will feature two live performance sets by Basis, accompanied by additional live music throughout the night. Guests will also enjoy a seated three-course dinner and premium beverage package as part of the experience.

Located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, Alpha has become well known within the Greek Australian community for hosting large-scale cultural events, celebrations and live entertainment evenings that combine contemporary Greek hospitality with music and dining.

Organisers say the evening has been designed to evolve naturally as the night progresses, beginning with a formal dinner service before transitioning into dancing, celebration and a lively late-night atmosphere.

Cabaret-style tables will seat between eight and ten guests, with attendees able to reserve entire tables or share seating with others, reflecting the communal spirit often associated with Greek entertainment culture.

With limited availability and strong early interest expected, bookings are essential.
