Greek Orthodox National Schools Event wraps up in Victoria

The final day of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia National Schools Event (GOAANSE) took place in Victoria on Friday, May 5 with male and female basketball and table tennis games taking place before the closing ceremony.

The games started from 9.30am, with students facing off for basketball at the Waverley Basketball Complex. The Oakleigh Grammar team won.

Table tennis was next at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC) with boys from St George College in Adelaide winning their game.

These matches were followed by a Principals Meeting and lunch at Oakleigh Grammar. The GOAANSE event closed with an official ceremony at the Sports Complex of Oakleigh Grammar, with many officials present.
