Three popular Adelaide restaurants will close for one day this week as a tribute to popular restaurant manager Angela Papas who passed away on April 7 after a battle with cancer.

Louca’s Seafood Restaurant, Diaspora Kouzina and Henley Beach Mediterranean (HNLY) will shut their doors this Thursday, April 20, the day of Angela’s funeral, to pay their respects to the 33-year-old who held instrumental roles at each of the restaurants.

According to The Advertiser, Angela was a director of HNLY, hospitality manager at Diaspora Kouzina and restaurant manager at Louca’s Seafood Restaurant.

“We are deeply saddened and devastated by the passing of Angela Papas… she was the shining star of Louca’s, Diaspora Kouzina and HNLY,” an Instagram post by Diaspora Kouzina reads.

Following Angela’s death, tributes have poured on social media. The proprietor of George’s on Waymouth and director of HNLY, George Kasimatis, praised her work ethic in his tribute.

“You fought so hard and you gave so much to all the businesses and those close to you, always there and never complained,” Mr Kasimatis said. “Fly high our beautiful angel, we will miss you so much.”
