Aristea Synesios appointed new Head of Primary at All Saints Grammar

·

Mrs Aristea Synesios has been appointed as the new Head of Primary at All Saints Grammar School in Belmore in Sydney’s inner south west.

The announcement was made by the school on Facebook and confirmed that Mrs Synesios will start in her new role from Term 1 this year.

“Mrs Synesios brings a wealth of knowledge to the role with over 10 years experience as a School Principal,” the Facebook announcement reads.

“We are delighted to have her join the All Saints Grammar community and wish her all the best.”

Mrs Synesios was a former School Principal at St Spyridon College’s junior school in Kingsford, Sydney for 32 years.

In August last year, Mrs Synesios announced that she would be leaving her position at St Spyridon College to spend more time with her family.

The announcement was met with anger by some College parents with a change.org being set up to express their “disappointment, distress and grave concerns” regarding Mrs Synesios’ “sudden and unexpected departure,” and to call for an explanation “from the Parish President and the Parish Board.”

In a statement to The Greek Herald at the time, Parish Board President, Elia Economou, said: “The St Spyridon School community wish Mrs Synesios all the best in the next chapter of her life, and we express our deepest gratitude for her decades of service, to generations of families.”
