Athenian Association of NSW hold Christmas cruise on Sydney Harbour

The Athenian Association of New South Wales held its festive Christmas cruise on Sydney Harbour on Sunday, December 4. 

There were a number of official guests in attendance including the Consul General of Greece in Sydney, Ioannis Mallikourtis; the President of the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW (GOCNSW), Harry Danalis; the Chair of the Greek Festival of Sydney, Nia Karteris; and the Press Counsellor at the Consulate General of Greece in Sydney, Costas Giannakodimos; among many other guests and media representatives.

During the cruise, Mr Danalis announced that GOCNSW will partner with the Athenian Association to mark its 70th anniversary next year by bringing dance groups from Greece to perform at the Greek Festival of Sydney.  

More information about this event will be announced in 2023.
