Inaugural Greek Book Fair to be held in Melbourne this weekend

The first edition of the 2022 Greek Book Fair is approaching, taking place at the Greek Centre for Contemporary Culture on November 26 – 27 from 11am to 6pm.

The Greek Book Fair (GrBF) is an initiative of the Greek Community of Melbourne (GCM), the Greek Australian Cultural League, and the Hellenic Writers Association of Australia.

The aim of the GrBF is to allow Greek Australian writers, bookshops and publishers to present, promote and sell their books. The program includes casual talks, panel discussions, book launches, book signings, book awards and more.

Free and open to the public, the GrBF will feature more than thirty exhibitors including authors, publishers, bookshops and organisations.

The official opening of the GrBF by Dr Andonis Piperoglou, Hellenic Senior Lecturer in Global Diasporas at the University of Melbourne, will take place on Saturday, November 26 at 12pm.
