The Kythera Association of Australia (KAA), a community organisation dedicated to preserving and promoting Kytherian heritage, has elected a new Board following its Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday, May 27.
The association, which connects Kytherians and their descendants across Australia and supports cultural, historical and community initiatives linked to the Greek island of Kythera, confirmed its leadership team for the next two-year term.
Barbara Zantiotis was re-elected President, with Spiro Coolentianos appointed Vice President, John Comino as Treasurer, and Dennis Cordato as Secretary.
They will be joined on the board by Esther Calligeros, Irene Faros, Maria Karedis, George Preneas, George Roins, Kathy Samios, Peter Tzannes and John Venetoulis.
The newly elected board will oversee the organisation’s ongoing cultural programs, community engagement and heritage preservation activities, continuing its role as a key link between the Kytherian diaspora and its island roots.
