Guardian Insurance Brokers wins national brokerage award for second straight year

·

Adelaide-based Guardian Insurance Brokers has secured Insurance Business Australia’s ‘Large Brokerage of the Year’ Award for the second consecutive year, strengthening its standing in the national insurance sector.

The award recognises performance across client outcomes, retention, service delivery, financial results, sustainable growth and stakeholder engagement. The back-to-back win places Guardian among a small group of brokerages to achieve consecutive recognition.

Chief Executive Officer Angelo Stathopoulos said the result reflects the organisation’s long-term, client-focused strategy.

“It’s an enormous achievement to win this award once. To be recognised again, in consecutive years, is testament to our entire team’s unwavering commitment to putting our clients’ interests first,” Mr Stathopoulos said.

“We are deliberate about building long-term relationships, investing in capability, and delivering advice that stands up when it matters most. I’m incredibly proud of our people and the standards they hold themselves to every day.”

The judging assessed brokerages on metrics including customer retention, service proposition, financial performance, growth trajectory and engagement with insurers, staff and the broader business community.

Managing Director Evan Jackson said the award reflects disciplined execution over time.

“This award speaks to consistency,” Mr Jackson said.

“Our focus has been on doing the fundamentals exceptionally well; clear advice, responsive service, strong insurer partnerships and rigorous governance, while continuing to evolve as our clients’ risks and expectations change.”

Mr Stathopoulos added that the achievement is shared with clients and partners.

“This recognition belongs as much to our clients and referral partners as it does to our team. Their trust allows us to do meaningful work and continually raise the bar,” he said.

The Insurance Business Australia Awards are regarded as one of the industry’s key benchmarks for excellence across the Australian insurance sector.
