Hellenic Football Federation denies alleged doping incident involving Greek player

UEFA and the International Testing Agency (ITA) are currently investigating a suspected doping case involving a Greek soccer player following a match in Georgia, in Tbilisi.

The Hellenic Soccer Federation (EPO) have denied the allegations.

A statement was released on Wednesday, April 17, where the Federation claimed it did not know of any positive test results from the Greek player.

“Regarding reports of a positive test result for a national team Soccerer, it is announced that the Hellenic Soccer Federation has not received any relevant information,” it stated.
