Turkish Defence Minister says talks with Greece are ‘quite positive’

Turkish Defence Minister Yasar Guler has described the recent talks between Greece and Turkey as “quite positive.”

The statement comes after the Turkish Defence Ministry hosted a delegation from Greece on Monday, November 13 for a “military confidence-building measures” meeting. 

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Guler said he hopes future talks will continue to be positive.

“In exchange we will go to Greece later,” the Turkish Defence Minister said.

“After the visit of our President (Recep Tayyip Erdogan), there will be a second meeting on the Confidence Building Measures (CBM). We will discuss and reach an agreement with them.”

Guler additionally shared that Greece will make the decision on when the next meeting will be.
