The Hollywood actress has been seen filming scenes at the Apollo theatre in Pyrgos and was transferred to a seaside town named Katakolo where a yacht named Christina O is located.

Pablo Larrain, the director of the film has said how excited he is to begin production, with the hope that Maria Callas’ remarkable life and work is brought to audiences around the world.

Whilst the film will heavily acknowledge Callas’s life, the film is also being commended for its wardrobe choices. Jolie has been seen wearing costumes which are based on real garments worn by Callas, including vintage fur items which belong to archived collections.

Currently, there is no release date, but filming will wrap up at the end of December 2023.
