The Panarcadian Association of South Australia “O Kolokotronis” celebrated its milestone 60th anniversary on September 23 with a dinner dance at the Cypriot Club in Hindmarsh, Adelaide.

On the night, the Panarcadians also celebrated the 202nd anniversary since the liberation of the Greek town of Tripolitsa during the 1821 Greek Revolution.

The anniversary celebrations were attended by many of the Association’s loyal members and special guests including the SA Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Tom Koutsantonis MP, and Connie Bonaros MLC.

During the event, the Association honoured its founding members and their significant contributors over the years.

Everyone in attendance also enjoyed live entertainment in the form of MUSIC3000 featuring Polixeni and Panagiotis Pournias, as well as Greek dancing performances by the Greek Orthodox Community of South Australia’s Dance Academy and the Greek Lyceum of South Australia.
