Modern Greek Language Teachers Association of South Australia relaunches in 2026

The Modern Greek Language Teachers Association of South Australia (MGLTASA) has announced its official 2026 Launch Event, marking the re-establishment of the association and the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Modern Greek language and culture education in South Australia.

After more than 40 years of history, MGLTASA is being re-energised by a passionate committee dedicated to reconnecting educators, strengthening professional networks, and supporting the future of Greek language education across all sectors.

The launch event, titled “Our Vision | Our Brand | Our Website”, will showcase the association’s renewed direction, including the unveiling of its new brand identity and website.

This special launch is an invitation-only event bringing together educators, community leaders, invited guests, and past contributors to celebrate the association’s relaunch and future vision.

The Modern Greek Language Teachers Association of South Australia (MGLTASA) has announced its official 2026 Launch Event.

Guests will hear from the MGLTASA committee about the association’s goals and priorities, including:

  • Supporting and connecting educators of Modern Greek
  • Providing professional learning and collaboration opportunities
  • Promoting Modern Greek language and culture education
  • Encouraging innovation and contemporary teaching practices
  • Strengthening the visibility and value of Greek language education in South Australia

The evening will also include recognition of past committee members and leaders whose dedication and service helped build and sustain the association over many years.

MGLTASA’s vision is to empower and support all educators of Modern Greek language and culture across South Australia through professional connection, advocacy, collaboration, and shared expertise.

The committee looks forward to celebrating this significant milestone with invited guests and members of the wider Greek and education communities.
