Australia’s most wanted man, Hells Angels leader Angelo Pandeli, privately met with his Canadian counterpart, Marty Robert of the Montreal chapter, to discuss enhancing cooperation on drug shipments prior to his arrest in Dubai.
This meeting has gained increased importance following Pandeli’s arrest, with authorities suspecting it was part of a broader strategy to maintain their alleged multi-billion-dollar cocaine and methamphetamine distribution network despite his capture.
Sources indicate that a scramble is now underway in the underworld to secure the services of Pandeli’s alleged insider on Sydney’s docks, who had reportedly facilitated the importation of large quantities of drugs into Australia.
Bringing Pandeli back to Australia would require an Interpol red notice, an international request for provisional arrest pending extradition.
The Australian Federal Police have declined to comment on the matter.
Sources suggest that Robert aimed to extend the Hells Angels’ drug network, capitalising on the void left by the diminished Comanchero bikie gang following recent arrests in Turkey.
Another conflicting source claimed that most Hells Angels members were not involved in drug dealing, which was external to the club.
